The leaves are popularly dried to prepare bergamot tea. Native American bergamot tea drinkers shared this delectable tea with the colonial settlers, who then used it as a substitute when imported tea became scarce after the Boston tea party. Carefully hand packed by Thomas Etty Esq.

Lovingly tended by our team of dedicated gardeners, a myriad of herbs, cut flowers, fruit and vegetables are grown within its ancient walls. Our garden, shop and café are open to visitors throughout the year.
